Last night at the 28th annual Roses Awards, held in the Hilton Manchester, the anti-speeding film “Mess” won Gold for the Best Commercial over 30 secs, while the Crashed Lives films, “Micilín” and “Errin”, won 2 Silvers for Best Commercial over 30 secs plus a Bronze for Best Campaign.
“Mess” is a joint cross-border campaign by DOE and RSA, supported by Hibernian/ Norwich Union Insurance, while Crashed Lives is a campaign featuring the stories of real victims, developed for the Road Safety Authority.
This latest gold award for “Mess” comes after the campaign won a Mobius Gold in Los Angeles and an Epica Silver in Europe. “Mess” which is still running on TV in Northern Ireland and in the Republic of Ireland continues to achieve high scores for awareness and for influence across all target audiences.
