LyleBailie International has scored a top advertising award at the gala Roses Awards in Manchester, winning the Best of the Best Gold over 25 years at the Roses Awards for the Northern Ireland Office anti-terrorist film "I Wanna Be Like You Dad".
The NIO ad was judged to be the best TV creative in 25 years by top professionals in the UK industry.
According to David Lyle, the ad agency's Chief Executive, it means that "LyleBailie has again led creative quality in one of the world's toughest arenas". Julie Anne Bailie, the agency's Executive Creative Director, added "What is unique is that we were the only agency with two Top Five nominations for Best of the Best TV in 25 years - for the NIO ad and for Ireland's anti-drink drive "Shame". This is an outstanding achievement".
LyleBailie International was formerly known as McCann-Erickson Belfast prior to a Management Buyout by David Lyle and Julie Anne Bailie in 2004, who created and wrote both of the Best of the Best nominations.
